Observator Instruments offers a wide range of display instruments. The OMC-131 used to be one of them. This true and relative wind display has been installed on many seagoing vessels, ferries and FPSO’s. However, after many years of service, it has been decided to discontinue the production of the OMC-131.

This decision was made for a variety of reasons, including the fact that R&D activities were required in order to replace obsolete components, while we already have a good replacement in our range

The OMC-140 Multifunctional TFT Display, self-designed and developed by Observator Instruments. The OMC-140 can be used anywhere and for various purposes, making it a state-of-the-art instrument. Whether you need insight into wind information (wind speed and direction, gust and variation, true or relative) or other meteorological parameters, such as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, visibility and cloud base.

Because of the multifunctional character of the OMC-140, the display can also be used for other purposes, such as an intelligent signal converter (GPS and Gyro), speed log indicator, echo sounder display, basic datalogger etc. The LCD screen – 8.5”, energy efficient LED backlight, industrial grade, long life – will display your data with a true viewing angle of 170⁰.
