PT. Geotindo Mitra Kencana is capable of performing scanning sonar utilizing a Kongsberg Mesotech MS1000 scanning sonar system. The system is used for the imaging and profile data collection at area where sonar system with moving survey vessel being not applicable. The MS1000 system with a 675kHz scanning sonar can be used to collect an accurate two dimensional representation of underwater structural features and detailed bathymetric data. This sonar has a range of 1.0m to 100m with a resolution of about 19mm.
